Unlike traditional dermal fillers that replace lost volume or define facial features, SkinVive’s tiny microdroplets of hyaluronic acid are injected near the skin’s surface. What can I expect during and after my treatment?
SKinvive is a minimally invasive procedure that takes about 30 minutes. The first step is to cleanse the skin and apply a topical anesthetic. Next, hyaluronic acid gel is injected into the dermis of the cheeks. Then the area is massaged to help distribute the microdroplets evenly.
Treatment with SKINVIVE has minimal downtime. There may be some redness, swelling and bruising at the injection sites, but this is usually mild, and symptoms resolve within a few days.
Individuals will see the full results from SkinVive within a few weeks. Most patients need two treatments to achieve optimal results. After that, the results of SKINVIVE™ can last for up to 6 months. The actual duration of the results will vary depending on an individual's skincare routines, genetics, and other treatments.
